Toronto construction worker injured at downtown site

TORONTO

A construction worker fell approximately nine feet while installing formwork the morning of Jan. 5 at a Toronto construction site.

The site is located at 55 Front St. E. and the constructor is Bird Construction and the employer is Verdi Alliance.

The worker was taken to St. Michael’s Hospital and there was no information on the injuries as of press time.

The Ministry of Labour’s construction inspectors are conducting an investigation.
