Masonry firm president wins Ontario Medal for Good Citizenship

CONCORD, Ont.

Jack Prazeres, president of Target Masonry Contractors Inc. of Mississauga, has been presented with an Ontario Medal for Good Citizenship for work that led to the development of the $5 million Luso Canadian Charitable Society Centre. The centre provides support services to those with physical or developmental disabilities.

“It’s a tremendous honour to receive this distinction from the Ontario Ministry of Citizenship and Immigration,” said Prazeres, also president of MasonryWorx .“We are all very proud of the work that we have done for the Luso Canadian Charitable Society as it is such an important organization for so many people.”

Created in 1973, the Ontario Medal for Good Citizenship recognizes people who have made exceptional long-term contributions to the quality of life in the province.
