Cement truck involved in accident near Toronto

BOLTON, Ont.

A man has been taken to hospital after his vehicle was involved in a collision with a cement truck in Bolton, Ontario, just northwest of Toronto.

Ontario Provincial Police Const. Jonathan Beckett says the man has serious injuries and was taken to hospital by air ambulance. The driver of the cement truck was not injured.

There were no passengers in either vehicle.

Beckett says it appears the Subaru Outback was travelling southbound on Caledon King Townline and the truck was westbound on King Street when they collided at the intersection. Provincial police reconstruction investigators are trying to determine what caused the collision.
