Project progress
Construction continues on Queenston Lewiston Bridge plaza near Niagara Falls
SCOTT BUILDERS INC.
Work on the third phase of the Queenston Lewiston Bridge plaza redevelopment project continues in Niagara-on-the-Lake, north of Niagara Falls, Ontario.
This phase of the project consists of the construction of a new 36,000-square- foot, two-storey, duty free store, a pedestrian bridge plus a new currency exchange building. Construction began November 2011 and is projected to be complete by July 2012.
Scott Builders Inc. is the general contractor; Rankin is providing site services; Silverline, excavation and forming; Applewood Glass, glazing; Ecco Electric, electrical; Besseling Mechanical, mechanical; G & A Masonry, masonry; M&G Steel, is the structural steel sub-trade; LKM, electrical/mechanical; Halsall, structural; McCormick Rankin, civil engineering and A. Robert Murphy, architect. Owner of the project is the Niagara Falls Bridge Commission and Prism Partners Inc. is the project manager.
