Glass installation continues on Paint Box condos in Toronto

Construction is moving up on the Paint Box condominiums, part of the Regent Park revitalization project in Toronto, Ont.
Daniels Corporation has completion of the 26-storey, 283-unit building with mechanical penthouse scheduled for early 2013. The work will also include a four-storey podium, retail and two levels of underground parking. The owner is Toronto Community Housing Corp. and the project was designed by Diamond Schmitt Architects Inc.
Consultants are Read Jones Christoffersen Ltd. (structural) and Smith & Andersen Consulting Engineering (mechanical/electrical). Subtrades include: M & G Steel Ltd. (structural steel); Cooltech Air Systems Ltd. (mechanical) and Speedy Electric Contractor Ltd.
