CVTech secures Hydro Quebec construction, maintenance work

DRUMMONDVILLE, Que.

CVTech Group Inc. said it has renewed a $13-million contract for the construction and maintenance of overhead distribution networks for Hydro-Quebec.

The one-year contract extension lasts through 2012. About 100 employees will work in Montreal and the surrounding area on the Hydro-Quebec networks.

“The renewal of this contract illustrates our solid business relationship with Hydro-Quebec as well as its high degree of satisfaction with our services,” said CEO Andre Laramee.

CVTech is a management company with a subsidiary providing services for maintenance of transmission and distribution lines in Quebec and the eastern United States.
