Kenaidan is an employee owned general contractor building heavy civil/structural concrete, water works and ICI projects and we're looking for exceptional people to join our team. We currently have an opening in the Greater Toronto Area.
Kenaidan, BIM Technician
The BIM Technician produces 3D models from any type of 2D model such as blueprints, PDF's and drawings using the Autodesk Revit platform. Specific accountabilities include:
Key Accountabilities:
- Produce accurate 3D models
- Generate clear and compelling presentations and photorealistic computer visualization throughout the entire construction process
- Communicate design concepts and extract data from 3D models
Education and Experience:
- BA in Architecture, Fine Arts or Computer Animation
- A minimum of 1 year experience in a design firm environment
- Working knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD required
- Experience with illustration, rendering and simulation of interior and exterior 3D design visualization is an asset
- Experience in 3DS Max and Mental Ray preferred
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to meet tight deadlines
- Ability to work well independently and in a team
