Corporate Profile: Fermar Paving Ltd. is a full service general contractor based in the Greater Toronto Area. The scope of its projects varies from road resurfacing all the way to greenfield infrastructure development. Fermar Paving Ltd. currently operates two drum mix asphalt plants in Toronto's west end. Both asphalt plants are capable of producing asphalt at upwards of 400 tph (tonnes per hour) and have storage capacity of approximately 1,000 tonnes each. Its plants produce a full array of quality HL and SuperPave products. Fermar performs all project sizes ranging from small parking lot repairs to major highway paving projects. The company continues to evolve with the hot mix paving industry. Its specialty asphalt mixes include stone mastic asphalt, open graded drainage layer, warm mix asphalt, rubberized asphalts and asphalts containing incinerator ash.
