More Alberta charities receive free computers from ERA.ca

EDMONTON, March 17 /CNW/ - Literally hundreds of families and charities in Alberta are struggling to gain access to the basic use of a computer and the internet for school, work and other important resources.

Luckily with the help of an organization called ERA, thousands of people in need are being helped every year. ERA is a non-profit organization that collects computers and electronics to refurbish for local charities, not-for-profit groups, libraries, elderly homes and other community organizations. ERA is dedicated to providing the highest quality of data removal and destruction.

Not only is ERA.ca the only Canadian organization to donate free computers, but also offer a "Volunteer-To-Earn" program where individuals of the community can volunteer their time in order to receive their very own computer.

Pickups available to businesses, schools, government departments and residents of the community.
