Large JJM Construction Ltd. consignment in next Ritchie Bros. Chilliwack auction

September 16 unreserved public auction features 1,150+ equipment items from 160+ consignors

VANCOUVER, Aug. 30 /CNW/ - Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers (NYSE and TSX: RBA), the world's largest industrial auctioneer, will conduct a multi-million dollar unreserved public auction at its Chilliwack, B.C. auction site on Thursday, September 16, 2010. More than 1,150 equipment items and trucks will be sold on auction day, including 250+ items consigned by B.C.-based JJM Construction Ltd. Established in B.C. in 1988, JJM Construction Ltd. is a family-owned and operated company involved in heavy civil, structural and marine construction, as well as environmental and navigational dredging. Their package of equipment being sold in the September 16^th Chilliwack auction includes: 15 hydraulic excavators, 10 wheel loaders, 15 Caterpillar D400D 6x6 articulated dump trucks, vibratory smooth compactors, truck tractors and pickup trucks.

Other highlights of the auction include 15+ crawler tractors, 30+ truck tractors, 55+ pickup trucks and automobiles, 70+ trailers (equipment, van, bottom dump and end dump), cone crushers, compactors and more.

Most equipment will be sold in the live auction; registered bidders can bid in person at the auction site, online in real time at rbauction.com, or by proxy. Smaller items, such as attachments and consumer goods, will be sold in an online Timed Auction. Bids can be placed on the Timed Auction lots online at rbauction.com, through internet kiosks at the auction site, or by proxy. The auction site has free public wireless internet access.
