IBR ANNOUNCES APPOINTMENT OF NEW PRESIDENT & CEO

VANCOUVER, Sept. 1 /CNW/ - International Bio Recovery Corporation ("IBR") (TSX-V: IBR), a developer and marketer of proprietary technologies for the production of organic-based, high-value agricultural products from organic wastes, is pleased to announce the appointment of Blair Heffelfinger as President and CEO of the Company, and as a director. Mr. Heffelfinger joined IBR in June 2010 and has served as Vice President until his current appointment.
Mr. Heffelfinger has over 15 years experience in business and corporate development working in a wide range of industries including biotech, cleantech, and industrial engineering. He is a proven manager of development stage companies with a particular focus on sales, marketing and business development. Mr. Heffelfinger holds a M.Sc. in microbiology/biotechnology from UBC and a M.B.A. from Sauder Business School, UBC.
Mr. Heffelfinger replaces Mr. Henry Bow who is retiring. Mr. Bow was employed with IBR for 8 years and served as President and CEO for the last 3 years. The Board of Directors, management, and staff of IBR thank Henry for his significant contributions to IBR and wish him well in his retirement. Mr. Bow is continuing as a director of the Company.
