Black Diamond Group Announces New Leadership AppointmentsCALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - Dec. 4, 2012) - Black Diamond Group Limited ("Black Diamond" or "the Company) (TSX:BDI), is pleased to announce, as a result of continued growth and expansion it has appointed several new members to its senior executive team. The following leadership additions and changes will take effect immediately and will strengthen the Company's position as a leading provider of remote accommodation, modular building and energy services in North America.
The company has named Troy Cleland as Senior Vice President, Structures Business Unit - a new role to drive the operational and commercial strategy execution for the combined Camps and BOXX Modular divisions. Prior to accepting this role, Mr. Cleland served as Senior Vice President, Partnerships and Acquisitions.
Dave Brown has joined the Company as Senior Vice President, Energy Services Business Unit and will lead the continued expansion of the Energy Services division. Mr. Brown brings extensive engineering experience to the Company to drive the division's new product development to support customers' drilling and completions related needs.
Marc Johnson has joined the Company as Division Vice President, Energy Services. A proven leader in sales and marketing in the oil and gas sector, Mr. Johnson will lead the continued success of the commercial operations of the division while bringing new products and services to market.
Mark Lewis has been named General Counsel for the Company. With many years experience in corporate law and in-house counsel, Mark will support the legal and transactional requirements of the Company through its continued growth.
The new executives will join Black Diamond's core management team, which remains firmly in place to manage the company's continued performance in all respects.
