Bathurst Airport in New Brunswick gets $2.2-million upgrade

OTTAWA

The federal government is investing $2.2 million in New Brunswick’s Bathurst Airport for safety upgrades. Approximately $1.9 million will be drawn from Canada’s Airports Capital Assistance Program for emergency funding to rehabilitate a runway at the airport.

Also, $326,402 will be used to replace the airport’s existing runway sweeper and snow plow truck.
